Spencer Carlon

Lead Garment Printer

Due to his wide array of responsibilities, Spencer is known as the company’s “Swiss Army Knife.” He was originally hired as a Digital Print Specialist, but soon took on several other roles at Gallant Graphics. Spencer took the initiative to learn and perform all areas of garment decoration including Direct to Garment, Screen Printing and Embroidery. He is a very talented “Digitizer”, which means he converts standard graphic images into digital images that can be used in the embroidery process. His other pre-production skills include, graphic design, creating transparencies for screen printing, and data conversion.

Spencer was formerly a Copy & Print Supervisor for an international office supply company. Along with his supervisory duties, he was charged with the tasks of digital printing and wide format printing as well as finishing and production. Prior to that, Spencer worked for an international Pharmaceutical company where he was responsible for film development and print making.

Spencer graduated from Arlington High School and continued his education at Dutchess Community College where he studied Communications and Media Arts, as well as studying to become a Medical Lab Technician. His love for printing however lead him in a different direction.

Amongst several professional goals, Spencer would like to win Impression Magazine’s Gold Ink Award for Digitizing and Direct to Garment Print. On his off time you can often find him out on the lake paddling his kayak.
